Congratulations, you have reached lvl 31 prayer! You are now able to enter the prayer guild. Once you reach a building
with monks scattered around, go to the east side and you will find a ladder. Climb up. (There is also another ladder on the
west side)
The Kharid scorpion is usually located in the East room or Northeast hallway. Beware - it is poisonous and likes to sting!
If you are working on the Scorpion Catcher Quest, remember to *use* scorpion cage *on* Kharid scorpion rather than just left-clicking
to Pick Up. (Ouch!) In the first room that you appear in (from the east side) are some barrels and bookcases.
To the west room, you will find book cases. In the West room on this floor you will encounter Brother Jered. He can bless
your Strung Holy Symbol (made from silver bar and a Holy Symbol Mold at crafting skill level 16; must be "strung" using ball
of wool before it can be blessed). The Blessed Holy Symbol adds +4 to prayer when worn and is thus more valuable. The down
side is that he only blesses your symbols one at a time, through a lengthy dialogue, which quickly proves tiresome.
Exit the north door of this room to a hallway, then head east to enter the altar room. Pray here to recharge your prayer
and you will gain an extra 2-point boost (e.g., your prayer will become 42/40 - it will stay like that until the points are
expended in the usual ways, either by activating prayer abilities or by an enemy draining off some of your prayer. Your next
prayer at any other altar restores you up to your normal total, 40 in this example: the extra 2 points are available only
when recharging prayer here in the Guild.)
Exit the east door of the altar room to a hallway, then south to the East room. The Kharid scorpion will be in one of these
two areas. In the East room there is a full monk's robe spawn.
Extra: Talk to Abbot Langley from the east ladder and he will heal you for free!
